Cutting Technologies
Shear Cut
A cutting method in which a moving upper blade passes closely over a fixed lower blade, producing a scissor‑like shearing action. This technique is typically used for flat or sheet‑type materials.
Die Cut
A cutting process in which a blade descends onto a fixed anvil or die block without touching it. Commonly used for solid or dense extruded profiles requiring clean, controlled cutting.

Tube Cut
Also known as Draw Cut, this method feeds the tubing between precision‑sized guide blocks that maintain the tube’s shape during cutting. An angled blade then descends between the guides to achieve a clean, deformation‑free cut.
Draw Cut
See Tube Cut.
Punch Cut
A cutting technique similar to die cutting, typically used where the required cut shape or end geometry differs from a straight cut—such as for flat products needing shaped or contoured ends.
Circular Saw
A cutting system that uses a rotating circular blade, generally applied to materials containing reinforcement, braiding, or harder outer layers requiring high cutting stability.
Hot Cut
A thermal cutting method in which an electrical current heats the cutting blade. This is frequently used on braided or fibrous materials, as the heated blade seals or bonds loose fibers during the cutting process.
